Report: Tom Brady Could Quit His New 10-Year, $375 Million Deal With FOX

Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion, might be considering quitting his new 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX Sports.

According to NFL insider Andrew Marchland of The New York Post, there is a possibility that Brady might not like the idea of being tied up with FOX Sports for the next decade.

Marchland stated that he believes there is a 51% chance that Brady will not go through with the deal, based on conversations he has had with people close to the athlete, adding that it’s “fluctuating“.

Marchland cited the amount of travel required as one of the factors that could influence Brady’s decision. He said that while Brady may try it for a year, he might not want to continue due to the extensive travel required for the job.

Brady is a notoriously committed individual, and he only wants to do something if he can give it 100%. Marchland compared Brady to other quarterbacks who have gone into media careers, but he stated that Brady is different in terms of his level of commitment. If Brady does take the job, Marchland believes that he will be there early and committed for the full four-day event.

The news of Brady’s potential departure from FOX Sports is significant for the network, which signed him to a record-breaking deal last year. The deal was supposed to start at the end of 2024, and Brady was expected to be the network’s biggest asset in their NFL coverage.

If Brady does decide to walk away from the deal, there is nothing that FOX Sports can do to prevent him from doing so. The contract technically has not started yet, and Brady has the capacity to simply say that he does not want to do it and break the contract.

The possibility of  Tom Brady not going through with the deal will come as a blow to FOX Sports, which has invested heavily in him. However, it is important to remember that this is still only a possibility, and nothing has been confirmed yet.
