It has only been a few days since Tom Brady and Gisele finalized their divorce. There are few things in life as personal as a divorce but that’s different, of course, when it is a celebrity couple and everything plays out in public like Tom and Gisele’s situation.
Nobody would begrudge Tom Brady for staying quiet about his divorce from Gisele. They have two children together. This is a completely life-altering split for them. But he immediately released a statement after the divorce was official. And then Tom Brady tackled the subject of his divorce on the latest episode of his Let’s Go! podcast.
Tom Brady Opens Up About Divorce From Gisele
Brady revealed their split has been a ‘very amicable situation’ thus far and he discussed how he’s been handling the divorce. Here are some of Brady’s quotes along with audio of the segment posted to YouTube by SiriusXM:
Tom Brady: “There’s a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home. And obviously the good news is it’s a very amicable situation and I’m really focused on two things: taking care of my family and certainly my children, secondly doing the best job I can to win football games.”
“So, that’s what professionals do. You focus at work when it’s time to work and then when you come home you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you can do is the best you can do. That’s what I’ll continue to do as long as I’m working and as long as I’m being a dad.”
