Future Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Tom Brady is set to be the subject of an upcoming roast on Netflix that the streamer says will be the “first ever roast to be telecast live, unedited.”

According to reports from NFL journalist Gregg Rosenthal, Brady’s former coach Bill Belichick is set to be one of the roasters at The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, as is Ben Affleck (although Affleck reportedly isn’t as probable as Belichick). Jeff Ross, the comedian synonymous with celebrity roasts, will also involved.

Given the way the relationship between Belichick and Brady fell apart in its final years, Belichick being involved in the roast is certainly an intriguing prospect.

“Tom Brady hasn’t had the breeziest past couple of years, so you could forgive him for lying low. Instead, the former Patriots quarterback is running headlong into another punishing sport. Yes, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is the target of the first-ever roast that will be telecast live, and unedited as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. Live on Netflix, The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, will be hosted by Kevin Hart with an all-star lineup of surprise roasters, in full-contact comedy. No Brady Rule. No Pads. No Mercy,” Netflix says of the event.

The commercial for the Brady roast is a bit what the kids might call “cringe”, though, as it features a corny Kevin Hart voice-over followed by a quick appearance from Jeff Ross to call Brady a “pretty boy” before the 7-time Super Bowl winner says “I’m unroastable — let’s go!”

This season, his second out of the NFL since retiring, Brady is set to begin his career in the booth as he joins Fox Sports as its lead commentator. Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox back in 2022.

The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady will air live on Netflix on Sunday, May 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
