Tom Brady appears to know that his team benefitted from an error by the refs.
Late in the fourth quarter of the Falcons-Bucs game, Falcons Grady Jarrett was called for a bogus roughing the passer penalty after he sacked Tom Brady in the backfield.
This may be the WORST roughing the passer penalty I’ve ever seen. Embarrassingly bad call. The Falcons got screwed.

Ref Jerome Boger explained that he felt Jarrett “unnecessarily” threw Brady to the ground on the play.
"The defender grabbed the quarterback while he was still in the pocket, and unnecessarily [threw] him to the ground"
You just described a (necessary) action in order to achieve a sack, Jerome Boger pic.twitter.com/RA5q3zGGjx

After the game, Brady was asked about the penalty call, and he noted that he “doesn’t throw flags” while appearing to smirk.

Falcons fans weren’t happy with Brady’s smirking response.
Look at his smirk at the end. He knew it was BS https://t.co/qZfYRLZjua
