After 12 years and two Super Bowl titles, Tom Coughlin decided that 2015 would be the end of his tenure with the New York Giants, ending a run that, presumably, was on his own terms.
Uh, after reading Coughlin’s body language and massive cold shoulder of Giants owner John Mara following the coach’s press conference today, though, it sure doesn’t look like ol’ Tom made the decision on his own, feeling as if he might have been pushed out and/or disrespected a little bit by Mara.

This appears to be like the Drake-Meek Mill beef, but between two AARP members who couldn’t rap to save their lives.
To Mara’s credit, he did extend Coughlin an opportunity to stick around the G-Men in an undetermined role with the franchise—which may or may not have felt like a slap to the face of Coughlin—but the coach has been said to still want to coach, so maybe the offer just pissed him off.
I say the coach should be on the sideline, because, clearly, he has some fire left burning inside him after seeing this diss—which plenty of his former players echoed in honoring him through social media yesterday.
