Tommy DeVito left his home in Livingston, New Jersey on early Sunday morning and traveled 20 minutes east to MetLife Stadium. Meanwhile, as her son prepared for his first home start with the New York Giants, his mother made his bed. He still lives with his parents.

The 25-year-old quarterback and his family could not be more on-brand. They are exactly what you expect from a family of Devitos who live in the Garden State.

Tommy is the most Italian quarterback in the NFL and his family is the most Italian family in NFL history. They showed up in mass for their beloved son, brother, cousin and friend’s first game in his home state.

They rocked driving caps and gold chains, smoked cigars, and gestured their hands with “Che vuoi?” It was perfect.

The DeVito family is exactly what you picture when you close your eyes and imagine the DeVito family. They’re straight out of the Sopranos in the best way possible.

Their beloved quarterback, who entered the weekend at 1-1 as a starter, didn’t hear his name called during last year’s NFL Draft and signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent. He joined the practice squad in August. The plan was not to elevate him to the active roster, let alone have him start.

However, disaster struck. DeVito is the last man standing and he’s starting to catch fire.

His family was fired up for the first touchdown pass of the game on Sunday!

The Giants have also embraced their quarterback’s heritage!

DeVito couldn’t be more Italian.

His favorite food is chicken parm with vodka sauce, because of course. His favorite movie is 2 Fast 2 Furious, because of course. His nickname is TD, because of course.

To make it even better, Tommy DeVito is self-aware. He knows his brand and debuted an extremely Italian touchdown celebration last week, which has stuck with him as the season continues.

Then, after his first win in the NFL, DeVito was more concerned with his hair.

DeVito’s time as the starter may not continue past this season. Either way, this run will live forever.
