We’ve all noticed how serious Tiger Woods is on the course and his mindset and moxey between the ropes has proven to be pretty successful over the years, to say the least. Now, thanks to this story from Tony Finau we really have insight as to just how serious the big cat is out there.
Finau was paired with Woods in the final group at the 2019 Masters, which Woods of course went on to win, and Finau talked about the experience. Simply put, Woods wasn’t in too talkative of a mood that Sunday.
After the two teed off on No. 7, where their tee shots stopped near one another, Finau being the nice guy he is asked Woods about his family, but that may have been a bit of a mistake.

Yep, this sounds about right. Finau had to have known that Woods wasn’t going to do the whole small talk thing while he was chasing his fifth green jacket, but hats off for him for at least trying to lighten the mood.
Add this story to the details of why that Sunday simply was a magical one for Mr. Woods. It never fails that whenever a video pops up of Woods tapping in the putt on the 18th green to win the Masters this year it makes you feel things.
