Tracy McGrady Pitched in a Minor League Baseball Game, It Went As You’d Expect

Tracy McGrady is taking a page out of Michael Jordan’s book and playing minor league baseball. And just like His Airness, things are not going well.

The big righty made his pitching debut for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League on Saturday night.

He did not exactly dominate.

McGrady allowed two earned runs, two hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings of work while earning the loss. I’m no expert, but getting five outs as a starting pitcher isn’t going to help him rocket up the rungs of professional baseball.

Luckily, he’s playing for the love of the game and not the paltry paycheck.
