Troy Aikman has no patience for mediocre quarterback play.
Throughout much of the first half of the Lions-Bears Thanksgiving day game, Aikman has been crushing Bears QB Mitch Trubisky every few minutes on the broadcast.
One of Aikman’s best jokes during the broadcast was when he said that Trubisky now has to live with being compared to the lowly David Blough when he’s used to being compared to Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson who were in his draft class.
“Imagine you’re MItchell Trubisky and you’ve spent your first 3 years being compared to Mahomes and Watson, and now you’re going to be compared (chuckles awkwardly) to David Blough. How about that?”
