It’s been a whirlwind start to the season for Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The Alabama alum got off to a red-hot start for the formerly 3-0 Dolphins. But, back-to-back weeks with traumatic head injuries put his season, and career, in jeopardy.
But, thankfully, Tua has been progressing and his injuries appear to not be career-threatening. And now, we may know when he will be returning under center for the Dolphins.
Tua Tagovailoa returned to practice Monday and is preparing to start against the Steelers
On Monday, Tagovailoa returned to the practice field and there were reports that he is planning on starting week 7’s Sunday Night Football game against the Steelers. Those reports were later corroborated by Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.

This is welcome news for Miami fans. After that 3-0 start, they’ve gone 0-3 with Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson under center.

And, a big reason for that is the offense has been much worse. Of course, when you lose a quarterback that is playing as well as he was, that will slow any offense down.

With draft classmates Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert struggling, Tagovailoa is making his claim to be considered the top draft prospect in the class.
