WrestleMania 40 is next week, and rumors about the event are starting to trickle.
Considering this is the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania, the WWE is looking to pull out all the stops to make the show a memorable one.
According to a report from PWInsider, the WWE has contacted Hulk Hogan and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin about appearing at WrestleMania 40.

“WWE sources confirmed that the company made an overture for Steve Austin to be involved over Wrestlemania 40 weekend. There was no word on the role, but there were at least some discussions.”
“There’s also been talk over the last week that WWE is working on having Hulk Hogan involved in some fashion at Wrestlemania 40 week.”
As of now, Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will face off against Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on night one of the WrestleMania.
Rhodes vs. Reigns has also been announced as the headlining match, but it’s unclear if that will happen on night two of the event.
