Drew Rosenhaus arrived quickly to the scene during the arrest of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill on Sunday morning. The 57-year-old NFL agent helped his client to not only get out of handcuffs, but to actually play during the game not even three hours later.
He wants all of the officers involved with the incident to be fired.
Initial bodycam footage of Hill’s arrest shows an unfortunate series of events. A heated altercation between the 30-year-old pass-catcher and Miami police quickly escalated after the former refused to roll down his window during a traffic stop. Officers quickly turned hostile. They used excessive force to remove Hill from his car, threw him on the ground and put him in cuffs.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins star was trying to communicate with his agent via cellphone. Rosenhaus got a very incomplete picture of what was going on through Hill. His teammate, Calais Campbell, was also driving to the stadium for the game at the time and pulled over to see what was going on.
Hill repeatedly yelled at Campbell to “call Drew” and catch Rosenhaus up on what was going on.
It was fairly shocking how quickly he was able to get there. Rosenhaus arrived within minutes. He immediately went to work on behalf of his client.
The Miami-Dade Police Department is actively reviewing the incident and initially tried to place blame on Hill. Meanwhile, the arresting officer is on administrative leave.
Rosenhaus believes it should be a permanent removal.
"I think the police officers that did that to Tyreek shouldn't be in that position. They should be let go." @DrewJRosenhaus shares what he believes the discipline for the Miami Police offers that detained Dolphins star Tyreek Hill should be.

He finds the behavior to be unacceptable and teased litigation.
Tyreek did not deserve to be treated that way by the police involved. Tyreek’s legal team will be pursuing this matter on Tyreek’s behalf and I’m sure they will consider taking legal action.

It will be curious to see how Miami PD chooses to continue. Should the department choose to stand by its officers, Tyreek Hill is going to take them to court. If not, Drew Rosenhaus believes the department should cut them loose for treating his client in an inhumane manner.
