It was initially reported that the Miami Dolphins players had removed ping pong tables to better focus on the NFL season. Head coach Mike McDaniel even praised his players for making that final decision. However, the team got roasted online for it, as it was incredibly unbelievable to think that a football team was so into ping pong that it took attention away from football. Now, Tyreek Hill spills the beans on what actually happened.

Tyreek Hill Admits Ping Pong Tables Were Removed From Dolphins Locker Room For Being Damaged

According to David Furones, the superstar wide receiver tells a completely different story than what was originally reported. Apparently, Tyreek Hill explains that “the reason the table was removed was because it was bent and they are ordering a new custom-designed one.” In retrospect, it sounds like the Dolphins are actually even more into ping pong than previously perceived.

What makes this so hilarious is that Mike McDaniel praised his team for removing the tables. Instead, the Dolphins are ordering a brand new custom-designed ping pong table for the locker room. That’s pretty much the exact opposite of what was initially reported. Shoutout to Tyreek Hill for keeping it real though.

Maybe this can help Miami remain competitive though. Since Tua Tagovailoa fell to injury the team has struggled. Hopefully, the young quarterback can get back under center soon, as long as he’s fully healthy and recovered from his scary concussion. If not, then the Dolphins must be patient with his recovery.
