A couple of weeks ago, Jon Jones returned to the UFC for the first in 3 years.

In his return fight, Jones scored a quick submission against Ciryl Gane to win the UFC’s heavyweight belt.

While many saw it as proof that Jones really is the greatest fighter in UFC history, it seems one UFC fighter doesn’t think the fight should have ever been allowed to happen.

During an interview with Helen Yee, Sean Strickland said that Jones being allowed to fight is “a mockery”.

Let me say one thing about f****** Jon Jones. Greatest fighter in the world, but Jon Jones sucks, you guys. He’s failed the most drug tests, he f****** beat his wife bloody, he hit a pregnant lady and drove off breaking her arms. So, my thing is, yes, you could have been the greatest fighter, but with how many drug tests you failed, it’s not right. Jon Jones should never be allowed to fight in the UFC again. It’s a mockery that they let him fight.

Strickland also offered to help Jones’ next opponent, Stipe Miocic, train for the upcoming title fight.

Stipe [Miocic], bro, please, man. Do it for me. Stipe, if you want to train, come here, I’ll be your punching bag, we can fight every day. Whatever the f*** you need, Stipe. I’m your man. Come train with me. Come to Xtreme Couture. I f****** got you. I’ll wrestle you all day long, dude. All day long

Strickland won’t be alone in rooting against Jones whenever he takes on Miocic as many feel similarly about Jones’ issues outside of the cage, but regardless of how anybody feels about Jones, the UFC definitely won’t pass up the opportunity to cash in on his talent.
