Many are anticipating the next time we see Khamzat Chimaev in the cage. Well, it sounds like the UFC star had some comments for his opponents about it and they didn’t take it too lightly.

On Monday, Chimaev claimed that the organization offered him four fights in four different countries. However, he says each of those bouts was turned down by his alleged opponents.

ESPN MMA shares the clip of Khamzat Chimaev talking about the situation. Additionally, he shares extra words for the other fighters and also reveals his hopes to fight in March 2023.

So, after that message soaked for a good two days, UFC fighters Paulo Costa and Belal Muhammad call out Chimaev over his latest claims. They each left a comment on MMA Junkie’s Instagram post related to the topic.

Costa couldn’t help but laugh after saying, “Does anyone still believe [this] bullshit?” He then called Chimaev a “gourmet cupcake.”

Meanwhile, Muhammad took a hilarious guess at which four fighters Khamzat Chimaev was talking about. “[His] four opponents that said no were Nick Diaz, Tony Ferguson, Brett Hart, and Chris Leben.”

Clearly, these two aren’t buying “The Wolf’s” claims. Especially since each of them has called out Khamzat Chimaev in the past as a potential opponent. We’ll have to wait and see how it goes down. Chimaev has hinted he’s open to fighting in either welterweight or middleweight. Additionally, he’s been asking for a title fight as well.

So, for now, keep an eye on both divisions, as we could have some big matchups coming to fruition down the road.
