The upcoming UFC Noche at the Las Vegas Sphere will be a one-of-a-kind event that has never been seen before, and the UFC is getting some help from Hollywood to make sure fans at home enjoy the experience as much as the fans inside the arena.

While speaking to Pat McAfee, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that the UFC hired Glenn Weiss to direct the TV telecast. Weiss is a well-known awards show specialist and has directed the Emmy Awards, the Academy Awards, and nearly every primetime awards show for the past 20 years.

“The people at home is the hardest part of this thing. There’s a director his name is Glenn Weiss and he’s done all the big shows, all the big Awards shows, what he’s gojng to be trying to do on Saturday night is giving you people at home or wherever you are, the feeling of being in the Sphere. So there’s going to be an in-house live event like every Saturday, an event that we beam around the world and then Glenn Weiss will have to shoot this thing, and will try to give you that Sphere experience at home.”

White explained that UFC Noche will feature several movies throughout the fight night.

“When the main card starts that begins my love letter to Mexico, their contribution to combat sports, their history of combat in Mexico…this will talk about their culture, who they are as a people, where they came from. The main card starts that will be the beginning of time and the main event will end in the future of Mexico. It’s a movie and there chapters to the movie, and it will end in these worlds we call them. Each fight will happen in a different world.”
