UFC 282 is right around the corner and it should be an electric night from the prelims to the main card. All eyes are on 18-year-old Raul Rosas Jr. though, as he’s making his debut.

We’ll see how it plays out, but the young phenom clearly has big goals while comparing himself to UFC legend Robbie Lawler. Hopefully, these comments don’t come back to haunt him.

According to UFC News, Rosas aims to make a name for himself in the MMA world. Not only does he want to become the youngest champion in history, but he claims he’s going to “go for records that haven’t even been made.”

Those are some bold claims indeed. Raul Rosas Jr. is making his UFC debut against Jay Perrin, who is a solid prospect in his own right. Rosas already shocked the world after becoming the youngest fighter ever to win a contract with the organization through Dana White’s Contender Series.

He’s putting some pressure on himself ahead of his first fight on a big card at UFC 282. On top of that, Rosas compared himself to MMA legend Robbie Lawler, per Carlos Contreras Legaspi.

Make sure to tune into the prelims for UFC 282 to catch Raul Rosas Jr.’s debut. He surely has all of the confidence in the world. But he’ll have to put actions to words on December 10.
