UMass Celebrated Patriots’ Super Bowl Victory With Female Chicken Fights, Head Injuries And Fires (VIDEOS)

The New England Patriots won the 2019 Super Bowl on Sunday night, the franchise’s third title in five years, and students at UMass were ecstatic. The students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus were so ecstatic that they engaged in chicken fights, climbed (and fell off) trees, and set fires. Because nothing says “I’m so excited that my team won the Super Bowl” than engaging in chicken fights, climbing trees, and setting fires.

The UMass kids were already known to partake in chicken fights because that’s their thing. But on Sunday night after the Pats defeated the Los Angeles Rams to win Super Bowl LIII, they went outside to throw down in a special Super Bowl champions edition of female chicken fights at UMass. Two women who were on the shoulders of two men attacked each other as other students gathered around and cheered for them like they were ancient Roman gladiators at the Colosseum.

One of the chicken fight teams had the girl wearing a Tom Brady jersey and the guy donning a Rob Gronkowski jersey. Besides the Super Bowl, it really appears that Brady and Gronk also won this battle as well, since the girl in the Patriots jersey got some solid shots in during the melee.

After last year’s Patriots’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, there was chaos as people were climbing poles, setting off fireworks, throwing glass bottles, which lead to six arrests. This year was a much more cheerful mood and there were no arrests. However, people did climb trees to celebrate and there were at least three students injured during the revelry, including one person suffering a head injury.
