Baseball finally returned on Thursday as the Washington Nationals hosted the New York Yankees on Opening Night. Unfortunately, the game was called by umpire Angel Hernandez. who was once labeled “as bad as there is” by Pedro Martinez following a an abysmal 2018 Yankees-Red Sox playoff game.
“Major League Baseball needs to do something about Angel,” “It doesn’t matter how many times he sues Major League Baseball. He’s as bad as there is.”
On Thursday, Hernandez made some questionable strike calls early on in the Nationals-Yankees game and began trending #1 worldwide on Twitter because he was getting roasted so hard by fans.
