Mario Cristobal has faced the media to explain to the media to explain his bizarre decision not to kneel the ball.

On Saturday, Miami was up three points on third down with 436 seconds left in the game but decided to run the ball instead of kneeling even though Georgia Tech had no timeouts and couldn’t stop the clock.

Miami ended up fumbling the ball, and Georgia Tech was able to capitalize with a game-winning drive.

While addressing the media, Cristobal defended his decision to run the ball with some sketchy math and also went on to throw his player under the bus for fumbling the ball.

“When the drive started it was going to be 1:57; we took 1:27 off, it was recalibrated, we should have taken a timeout, I thought he was getting the first down,we talked about two hands on the ball, but that’s not good enough. That’s it fumbled the ball at 25 and they 75 yards in two plays.”

After listening to his comments, you could tell Cristobal was confused about how much time was left on the clock and Georgia Tech’s situation.
