After months of being sidelined due to the Coronavirus pandemic, boxing is back on DAZN.
On July 24th, Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN will host a card that features the main event fight between 2019’s Ring Magazine prospect of the year Vergil Ortiz Jr. (15-0, 15 KOs) and veteran boxer Samuel Vargas (31-5-2, 14 KOs)
On Friday we got an exclusive first look at the trailer for the fight and it prominently features the unbeaten 22-year-old rising star Ortiz Jr. who has racked up 15 wins, all by knockout and is being called the “future of boxing” by the promotion.
With another dominant win, Ortiz Jr. inches a step closer towards superstardom and getting a big fight against the Errol Spence Jrs and the Terrence Crawfords of the world.
Vargas vs Ortiz Jr. will take place on Friday, July 24 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. and will stream live on DAZN beginning at 8pm et/5pm pt
