You won’t see NBA superstar Victor Wembanyama promoting any gambling companies in the near future.
Two weeks ago, LeBron James became the face of Polymarket after signing a massive $15 million/year deal with the company.

While speaking to the media on Thursday, Wembanyama said he would never promote a sports betting company and feels it’s sad that some players do.
“Absolutely not. Honestly, I think it’s very sad to see some players promote it.”

Wembanyama explained that he wants to inspire the youth in a good way, and doesn’t need money from gambling companies.
“Obviously, we earn millions and millions. This is not our biggest strength. Our biggest strength is inspiring, and we can inspire in a good way or a bad way. I want to inspire in a good way. That’s the strongest thing I can do.”
