Francis Ngannou, the number two ranked UFC heavyweight, says if heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is serious about competing in MMA, as he has claimed, he is “200% down” to take him on inside the octagon.

In fact, he’s so serious about it he’s enlisted the help of none other than Iron Mike Tyson should he ever actually face Fury.

“Spoke with Mike Tyson and he agreed to train me for when I fight @Tyson_Fury in the Ring. Don’t be scared Fury. You called me out and now you’ll have to live with it. #WakandaForever #UNCROWNEDKING,” Ngannou tweeted on Wednesday.

“Ill deal with you and all the other Mma heavyweights when I’m done with my boxing fights, It won’t be long to wait! Then I’ll show u how we roll,” Fury responded on Twitter.

“You don’t have to worry about other “Mma Heavyweights” because I might just retire you. Tell you promoter to call @ufc #uncrowndedchamp,” Ngannou fired back.

Then later Thursday night, Tyson posted a video of himself giving Ngannou a few pointers after the UFC star’s appearance on his “Hotboxin” podcast, and also revealing that he is still in great shape and is still a very dangerous man.

Tyson says he wouldn’t have been successful in MMA back in his prime, which seems a little far-fetched, because I bet if Tyson put in a full training camp, even at age 53, he could still knock out 90% of the heavyweights in the world right now.

So will Ngannou and Fury ever actually face one another in a fight? Dana White doesn’t think so, but that isn’t stopping fight fans from dreaming of what a Tyson-trained Ngannou could do.
