The Minnesota Vikings have added former New England Patriots first-round receiver N’Keal Harry to their practice squad.

This announcement comes after Harry was released from the Vikings‘ active roster just a week ago.

To accommodate Harry’s return, the Vikings had to make room on the practice squad, and receiver Alan Ali was subsequently released.

N’Keal Harry, selected as the last pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Patriots, has had a challenging NFL career. Over the course of 40 NFL games, he managed to secure just 64 receptions, amassing 714 receiving yards and scoring five touchdowns.

After three seasons with the Patriots, Harry was traded to the Chicago Bears, eventually finding his way to the Vikings, signing with the team in early August.

While he was initially part of the active roster, he was released just a week ago. Now, he has a fresh opportunity to prove himself on the Vikings’ practice squad and work towards potentially returning to the active lineup in the future.
