I do not know whether Texas A&M wide receiver Mario Craver runs his own account on Instagram but I would assume he has access, at the very least. He — or whoever runs his account — was caught liking a post from the viral Florida girl on Sunday.
It was less than 12 hours after a blowout loss to LSU.
While I am not here to police anybody’s activity on social media, a college football player of this caliber should consider the optics of his double taps. Especially after losing!
A female Florida fan went viral during the college football game against Ole Miss.
The Florida Gators ran all over the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday. Jon Sumrall began his first season as the head coach in Gainesville at 4-0 with a statement win over the Heisman Trophy front-runner and a top-five opponent.
However, the most viral moment of the game had nothing to do with the game.
The ABC broadcast cut to the crowd at the start of the fourth quarter. The camera focused on a blonde co-ed. (And a random grown man who was sitting in what looked like the student section??)

It did not take long for the internet to do its thing. The viral Gators fan was identified as Peyton Blomquist, a freshman at the University of Florida and a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
Her Instagram account completely blew up overnight. She had approximately 10,000 followers on Instagram as of early Sunday morning. That number is now greater than 35,000. All because of a six-second clip on ABC.

At 5-foot-9, 180 pounds, Mario Craver was the second-leading receiver for the Aggies in 2025. The former four-star recruit and Mississippi State transfer caught 59 passes for 917 yards (15.5 yards per catch) and four touchdowns.
With K.C. Conception off to the NFL, Craver is Marcel Reed’s No. 1 target in 2026. He caught 22 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns through the first four games of the season despite multiple injuries. An ankle issue briefly took him out of the game against Kentucky in Week 3. A hamstring problem sent him back into the locker room for a chunk of the game against LSU.
Craver finished with three catches for 31 yards and one carry for six yards on Saturday. Texas A&M lost 35-6.
Less than 12 hours later, Blomquist posted a photo dump from the Ole Miss game on Instagram. Craver was among the 18,000+ who liked the post. He gave the viral Florida girl a double tap less than 12 hours after a demoralizing loss.
Maybe Mario Cravers doesn’t run his own account and was not the one who administered the like. I don’t know. Either way, the optics aren’t great. The star wide receiver on a team that lost by 29 points should probably consider that his likes are public. To spend the next morning thirsting over the viral Florida girl is not going to help with how the fanbase views the program.
