Wake Forest pulled out an exciting College World Series comeback on Monday night, taking down LSU, 3-2. The Demon Deacons have been the top ranked team in college baseball for a large portion of the season, and they’re showing why in Omaha.

The team finds itself in the winner’s bracket after winning its first two CWS matchups. They’re now one game away from a Finals appearance. After Wake Forest’s big win over the Tigers, a celebration erupted in the locker room.

Many around the sports world are asking for an explanation following what was a bizarre scene.

In those festivities, a Demon Deacons player appeared to dry hump a teammate who was sitting on a chair. The craziness caught many viewers off guard and they’ve been quick to comment on social media.

A clip of the Wake Forest celebration was posted to Twitter early Tuesday morning. Here’s what college baseball fans were saying.

“What in the world…?” this fan asked. He wasn’t the only one.

Another person said, “As a Vols fan, we need answers.”

This follower posted, “Nah, that’s crazyyyyyy.”

There certainly wasn’t a shortage of Oral Roberts references in the comments section, which we won’t post here. ORU is currently on the other side of the field as they battle back in the loser’s bracket.

While the celebration might’ve been odd to some, it was certainly warranted following a huge Wake Forest win. The Demon Deacons overcame an early 2-0 deficit before completing the comeback with a run in their final at-bat of the game.

They’ll now await the winner of LSU-Tennessee as they hope to claim a national title.
