Bellator MMA was bought by Viacom a few years ago. In those few years they have transitioned from a respectable MMA organization into an organization that is borderline WWE and that was most evident on Friday night when 51-year-old Ken Shamrock fought former Youtube sensation Kimbo Slice.
The fight started off with a bizarre entrance by Ken Shamrock which included Animal from the Legion of Doom.
The 51-year-old Shamrock did hold his own and exploited Kimbo’s lack of grappling skills by taking him down early in the fight. Shamrock was able to secure a tight rear-naked choke until Kimbo was able to get up and KO Shamrock.
The fight was an absolute shit show but an entertaining one at that.
