  • The ticket cashed, helping the newlyweds start a honeymoon fund

An MLB betting slip is going viral after it was given to a happy couple as a wedding gift. The newlyweds were even happier to see the ticket cash.

This wedding gift was presented as a message inside a card given to the couple on their wedding day, but instead of the typical “Congratulations,” the following was written.

Monday, June 27th

  • Yankees -1.5
  • Cardinals ML
  • Rangers -1.5
  • Rockies +1.5

Short and to the point.

The four-team parlay called for the Yankees to cover a 1.5-run line against the A’s, the Cardinals to beat the Marlins, the Rangers to cover a 1.5-run line against the Royals, and the Rockies to cover 1.5 runs as an underdog against the Dodgers.

The couple then placed a $50 wager on the quartet of games at +1286 odds.

Naturally, it cashed.

Bet slip cashes after being gifted at wedding

Vin Simeone, the recipient of the gift, posted this on Tuesday.

An all-time story right here… I got married over the weekend, buddy of mine gave out a 4-team parlay in the card he gave to me and my wife. Never a doubt. Cash it!

That $50 turned into around $700 when the night ended.

I wish this would’ve been on my wedding day gift list. Instead, I’m looking for somewhere to stash that fourth set of wine glasses or my unused, oversized cast iron skillet that won’t fit in the oven.

This $700 win is a great start to the honeymoon fund, and it easily makes this guest the best attendee at the wedding.
