To say this has been a lost season for the Chicago White Sox would put it lightly.  They’re 27-82, good for a winning percentage of just .250, and they’re on pace to be the worst baseball team of the modern era.

They’re offloading pretty much any player who can get them a routine to help them for the future, and that includes talented deliver Michael Kopech. Kopech was sent to the Dodgers as part of a three-team trading that also involved the Cardinals on Monday.

Kopech, now 28, has not been at his best this year out of the pen, with a 4.74 ERA. But, the former top prospect as a starting pitcher features absolutely electric stuff with a fastball that occasionally reaches triple digits.

The Dodgers are the type of organization who can get the most out of a talent like that, and it won’t hurt that he will be playing with a much better defensive and overall operation.

Meanwhile, the White Sox bullpen literally poured one out for their teammate, who will no longer spend long games cracking jokes in the bullpen. Take a look.

There’s definitely a bond formed in the bullpen, and they showed how strong it is.
