Wolf Blitzer was one of the many Bills fans who watched their team cruise past the Broncos on Sunday to punch their ticket to the Divisional Round. You might think a man who’s spent decades on television would have a pretty elaborate audio-visual setup at his house, but it does not appear that’s the case based on the picture he posted while basking in the victory.
It may surprise some people to learn Wolf Blitzer was born in Germany before moving to America as a child when his family resettled in Buffalo—the city where the longtime CNN anchor went to high school and college before kicking off his career in journalism.
The 76-year-old has been a fan of the Buffalo Bills for the bulk of his life, and he’s said his affinity for the franchise is deeply rooted in the formative memories he made while attending games with his dad when he was growing up.
However, as is the case with every Bills fan, Blitzer has never seen his team win a Super Bowl, as the closest they’ve come is the infamous string of four consecutive losses in The Big Game at the start of the 1990s.
There’s still a chance this could be the year after Buffalo earned the right to face off against the Ravens in the second round of the playoffs after ending Denver’s season in definitive fashion at home with a 31-7 win.
Blitzer took a victory lap by posing for a picture in front of the television set he used to watch the game in the closing minute of the fourth quarter, and his absurd entertainment setup is understandably the only thing most people who saw the photo can talk about.

One internet detective did some digging and discovered the 37″ television set has been out of production for 20 years and cost $4,600 back in the day (you could easily get something twice as big for a fraction of that price today).
I’m operating under the assumption this photo was taken in Blitzer’s home as opposed to someone else’s, and if that is indeed the case, he’s also still sticking with a DVD player he seemingly bought before Blu-Ray became A Thing as well as the CD player sitting next to it.
If it works, it works, but it’s still exuding some major Michael Scott Energy.
