WWE Raw returned to a live format on Monday night but maybe they should have thought about doing a taped segment instead.
On Monday afternoon the WWE was given the go-ahead by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis despite the state’s stay-at-home order.
“According to Demings, the WWE initially was not designated as essential and therefore not exempt from the state's shelter-in-place order, which took effect April 1 and runs through April 30. That decision was reversed after ‘some conversation’ with Gov. Ron DeSantis' office.”

Unfortunately for the WWE, Monday Night Raw hit a snag when longtime commentator Jerry “The King’ Lawler used some questionable language while describing a move from Japanese wrestler Akira Tozawa
Jerry Lawler saying Akira Tozawa hit the "Ramen Noodle Moonsault". Dude. It is 2020. #WWERaw

Jerry Lawler just called Tozawa’s senton on Austin Theory the "Ramen Noodle Moonsault”. #WWE #RAW pic.twitter.com/wi9zor3o2b

Wrestling fans weren’t happy with Lawler over his choice of language.
Jerry Lawler flew on a plane, in the middle of pandemic to announce on #WWERaw, to call Tozawa’s Senton off stairs on Austin Theory the “Ramen Noodle Moonsault”…
Talk about giving absolutely ZERO FUCKS 🤣 #Raw

Hey @JerryLawler maybe try not to be so racist on commentary, "a ramen noodle moonsault" when talking about a move Tozawa did is not exactly a good call #RAW

@VinceMcMahon Not a good thing to have @JerryLawler be openly racist on #WWE #RAW pic.twitter.com/ySa2Ssl0jl
