You never know what you’re going to see when you tune into a WWE wrestling match. In just the past week, we’ve seen former champion Gunther legitimately choke ESPN star Pat McAfee. Stone Cold Steve Austin accidentally crashed an ATV into a fan at WrestleMania. But new WWE tag team champion Montez Ford may well have just stolen the show on Friday’s episode of SmackDown when he did something fans have never seen before.
Ford and partner Angelo Dawkins, who together form the Street Profits, competed in a triple-threat, tables, ladders and chairs match for the titles against opponents DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). During the match, anything goes. That apparently includes Ford taking a prosthetic leg from a fan seated in the front row and using it to repeatedly pummel Gargano.
Fan Who Gave Up Prosthetic Leg To WWE Star Montez Ford Shares Video On X
To his credit, a reverse angle filmed by the fan, who goes by @LuchaBigE on X, shows the fan asking Ford to use his leg to help win the match. If that’s a sentence you thought you would never read, I can promise you it is also a sentence I never thought I would write.
Ford later went on to win the match for his team, climbing up a ladder and retrieving the title belts that were hung about the ring. But all fans could talk about after the match was what they had just witnessed with the prosthetic leg.
“I don’t think anything will top Montez Ford using a prosthetic leg to beat the sh-t out of Gargano and Joe Tessitore calling the match a TLCPL on the fly this year,” one fan wrote.
