Last night, CM Punk made his UFC debut nearly two years after abruptly leaving the WWE to pursue his dream of becoming an MMA fighter. Unfortunately, thing didn’t work out for Punk in the cage as he got dominated by Mickey Gall and was submitted by rear naked choke at the 2:14 mark of Round 1.
On Sunday, WWE held Backlash which featured a match between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship. The opening moments of the match appeared to be choreographed to mimic Punk’s UFC fight from last night.
