Zamir White will have his first opportunity to be a primary ball-carrier in the NFL this fall. The 24-year-old running back is slated to take over the backfield for the Las Vegas Raiders with Josh Jacobs off to Green Bay.
He is insanely jacked and always has been!
White, a fourth round pick out of Georgia in 2022, is a prime breakout candidate for 2024. Expect him to get the lion’s share of touches alongside Alexander Mattison, Ameer Abdullah and rookie Dylan Laube. His yards after contact was best for sixth in the NFL last season and he averaged 114.3 total yards on 23.3 touches during Weeks 15, 16, 17 and 18. There is a lot of buzz about his potential as RB1.
There is also a lot of buzz about White’s physique. He is listed at 6-foot-0, 215 pounds — but that second number might be understated.
White received the nickname ‘Zeus’ during his high school days in North Carolina because he was jacked from throwing hay bales on his farm growing up. His moniker was even more valid when he got on a college strength and conditioning program in Athens!
Now, as White enters his third year in the NFL, he is bigger than ever. He recently shared a photo from the gym on his Instagram story that put his strength in perspective.
His arms look like tree trunks! His biceps are, quite literally, bigger than his head.
Very few running backs in the NFL are built like Zamir White. It’s pretty crazy. Opposing defenses are going to have a very hard time bringing him down, which is a testament to his yards after contact. Arm tackling is not going to work when a freight train is coming down the tracks. It’s going to take more than one guy to bring him down!
