When healthy, New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson is one of the most electrifying players in the NBA. The fifth-year man out of Duke has, unfortunately, often been injured and missed a ton of games throughout his career.

But, he is healthy for the start of the 2023-2024. And, arguably the NBA’s best dunker has already thrown down some incredible dunks through just one game.

Look at this dunk in the second quarter. Zion Williamson goes right at reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. and dunks on his head.

“‘the league is in danger,'” X user @Curryprospects said.

“The NBA is better with Zion making plays like that,” @Haylow77 said

Williamson wasn’t done throwing down monster jams. Fast-forward to late in the fourth quarter, and he did this.

A 270lb (roughly) man should not be able to jump like that. He’s truly a freak of nature. It was a good night overall for Zion Williamson, who had 23 points and 7 rebounds on 9-17 shooting. And, the Pelicans beat the Memphis Grizzlies, who are without Ja Morant for the first 25 games of the year due to suspension, 111-104.

As long as Williamson can stay healthy, not only will the Pelicans be must-watch television, but the team itself will be pretty good.
