Jordan Brand is back at it again, fulfilling all of our retro-shoe-loving needs. Today they do so with the release of the Jordan Melo 1.5 SE, or “Hoodie Melo” as it’s become commonly known since Carmelo Anthony posted those hooded Instagram videos last summer.
Available in Black/Team Orange/Anthracite, this latest rendition of the Jordan Melo 1.5 sports a foam midsole with full-length encapsulated Air-Sole cushioning to keep it lightweight and comfortable on the court.
More importantly, as you can kind of see from the photos, this new slash old Melo 1.5 has a tech-fleece upper, while the heel unit and the ankle collar use fabric meant to mimic to feeling of, you guessed it, a hoodie.
The sneakers also come with a cool hangtag (which you can also view in the photos below) just like the one that came with the shoes way back when it was first introduced in 2004.
