Was Miss USA Robbed At The Miss Universe Pageant?

The Miss Universe, a competition where nations can put aside their grievances (Unless you’re Israel and Lebanon) and celebrate each country’s beautiful young women. There were 88 spectacular girls representing their nation in the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, but it came down to five finalists including Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell, Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen, Miss USA Nia Sanchez, Miss Colombia Paulina Vega and Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha.

The judges which included Manny Pacquiao, Kristin Cavallari, Rob Dyrdek, Desean Jackson and Giancarlo Stanton, narrowed the field down to Miss Colombia and Miss USA. But it would be Miss Colombia that walked away with the hardware on Sunday night. The 22-year-old student of business administration from Barranquilla, Colombia took the title of Miss Universe. “It will be a dream come true to represent the woman of today. A woman that not only cares about being beautiful and being glamorous, but also cares about being a professional, intelligent, hard-working person,” Vega said earlier in the week.

The 24-year-old Miss USA from Las Vegas, Nevada was the second runner-up, but by the looks of her Instagram she had the talents to win this event.

And while we’re talking about snubs, I also think that Miss Australia Tegan Martin should have at least been one of the finalists.
