A bizarre scene unfolded at Wimbledon this afternoon when a confused Serena Williams could not perform the most basic of tennis functions, serving wildly short of the net on several occasions. The disorientation led to the Williams sisters retiring from their doubles match. Here’s the shocking video.
Not sure why this match started in the first place. It was obvious to everyone with a functional brain that Serena Williams was having difficulty bordering on vertigo. Doctors checked Serena’s vitals before ultimately deciding enough was enough. We’ll update when we hear something.
