Alleged Sex Scandal Rocks Fox News

Fox News has been rocked by accusations of sexual assault by an ex-employee. Former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros filed a lawsuit claiming that she was sexually harassed by Roger Ailes and host Bill O’Reilly.

In a 37-page lawsuit, Tantaros contends that she was only removed from her hosting duties on the cable news network as retribution for making a sexual harassment complaint against Ailes, the founder and former Chairman and CEO of Fox News.

“Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency, and misogyny,” Tantaros states in her lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court.

The lawsuit by Tantaros comes nearly seven weeks after former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson accused Ailes of sexual harassment. Since Carlson’s stepped forward with the allegations, at least 20 women have gone public with their own testimonies of harassment by the Fox boss.

Due to the mounting criticisms, Ailes resigned from Fox News in July.
