Not since the first Gulf War, when U.S. F-117 stealth fighters made an absolute mockery of Iraqi Air Force defenses has an opponent been so thoroughly trounced by America from the skies.
In Vancouver, photographer Lisa Bell came across a dogfight for the ages, when she saw a bald eagle take on a Canadian goose.
The pictures are spectacular. And I do mean spectacular.
Lee Greenwood was right. God bless the USA.
(And yea, the eagle is probably Canadian, too, but whatever. Also, the goose eventually escaped mostly unscathed. Again, whatever. This is still fucking awesome.)
