A couple years ago, the editors here put out a book called My Dad Is A Bro. If the book came out today, this father might be on the cover.
Atti, the boy in the wheelchair, suffers from cerebral palsy. He’ll never get to actually shred on a skateboard so his dad did the next best thing — he took Atti to a skatepark and got him as close to the real thing as possible. Atti’s expression says it all.
This is just the kind of stuff you do when you become a dad. You’ll do anything just for that one smile.
