Have you ever seen a member of ISIS eating a red, white and blue popsicle? Didn’t think so.

Today, America commemorates the 2,977 people who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks. Anything that some may consider disrespectful to America on the other 364 days is considered repulsive today. We just don’t have the collective emotional capacity to delve into America’s shortcomings today. Can we all just come together today and be sad?

Evidently not.

I woke up at noon and saw that Miami Dolphins players–Arian Foster, Jelani Jenkins, Kenny Stills And Michael Thomas–knelt during the National Anthem today before their matchup with the Seahawks.

American sweetheart Kate Upton was as disappointed with the gesture as I was.

Thanks  for getting that off your chest, Kate. Anything else you want to remove from your chest? Please. For America.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
