Vladimir Putin Just Said He Thinks Barack Obama Is A Total Bro

To be perfectly honest with you Bros out there, we struggle with what the definition of a Bro truly is. Is it a dude jamming to John Butler Trio in the parking lot before a Dispatch concert, an aluminum 16 oz Bud Light bottle in his hand as he shouts, “Turn this shit up, this is my jam,” when Ocean comes on?

Well, yes. That is no doubt a Bro. But, like, what does it mean to be a Bro. We’ve talked about that a lot, as well, and what we think it comes down to is that Bros are just decent dudes. Dudes who try to be nice, try to do the right thing, and try to have fun while at it.

Someone someone else would call a good guy.

By that estimation, Vladimir Putin called Barack Obama a total Bro.

Earlier this week, Obama said his worst mistake in office was not sufficiently planning for the aftermath of the U.S.’s intervention in Libya in 2011, and that he felt personal responsible for the chaos that ensued.

During an annual Q&A, Putin was asked about Obama’s comments and said that it takes a “decent man” to admit his mistakes.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the US against repeating the mistake it made in Libya in Syria, noting that Barack Obama’s confession about Libya being his “greatest mistake” shows the US President is a “decent person.”

“Firstly, it confirms once again that the current US president is a decent man – and I say this without irony, because it’s not easy to say such things,” President Putin said.

“Unfortunately, [Obama] himself made those mistakes in Libya. It is very good that my colleague has the courage to [admit it], not everyone can do it,” Putin said, adding that “only a strong man” can make such bold statements.

Now Bro hug it out, you Bros.
