Chick Invites Tinder Date On Last Minute Vacation To Turkey, They Show Up To Military Coup And Vacation From Hell

By now all of you bros heard about the failed military coup in Turkey which took place Friday night and into Saturday morning. In Turkey the military sees itself as the guardians of democracy, the final protectors of the separation between religion and government. So in recent months as President Recep Erdogan has been using inflammatory religious rhetoric to get the religious Turkish citizens all fired up and has been making political decisions based on religion the military decided it was time to intervene, only they failed and now he appears to be more powerful than ever. With hundreds of people dying during the failed military coup I simply could not think of a worse time to vacation on the Bosphorus Sea, but of course nobody really saw this coup coming.

One chick from England was supposed to take a vacation to Turkey with her family but the fam bailed last minute, and instead of scrapping the ‘cation altogether she found some random Tinder date to go with her. Then the two showed up just in time for the shit storm military coup, and it sounds like the worst vacation in history…And if we’re being honest here she sounds like a stage-5 clinger, and this dude was lucky to get out of Turkey with his sanity.

Nicole Graham, 20, from South Tyneside, invited her match, 22-year-old Phil Stephenson, to join her on the week-long holiday after her mother and sister couldn’t make it.
She said: ‘After we matched on Tinder he asked me if I wanted to go out with him on Friday night, so I explained I was going away.
‘He told me he wished he could come with me, and I thought, why not?
‘I asked him for £150 towards the holiday and we met at the airport the following day. I am a spontaneous, fun-loving girl. I am all about the banter, and I thought it was better than going on my own.’
But as soon as she met him at the airport, she says she found him ‘ignorant’ and was on his phone the entire time.

When they landed at Dalaman airport in Turkey, Nicole realised their date had turned far worse after news spread of the attempted coup.
Phil, who works for a bed company, said: ‘She asked me if I would like to go instead and I didn’t think twice, I said yes, because that is the sort of person I am.
‘Now I am caught up in the unrest – but if I am honest I am more scared of her.’
‘I soon realised she wanted us to behave like a married couple when we had only just met.’
The 22-year-old has now flown home, leaving Nicole to spend the next five days alone at the popular Marmaris resort.
But the auxiliary nurse couldn’t wait to see the last of her disappointing match.
She said: ‘I feel safe at the moment. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see the back of Phil.
‘Now he has gone I can enjoy myself – although he has left behind a £60 bar bill and taken my toothpaste.’

Seriously, imagine meeting some girl on Tinder, everything was going really well, and she’s like ‘Would you like to spend the week in Turkey with me? All you have to pay for is £150 and the rest is covered.’ You’d be there in a heartbeat. You show up and this chick wants you to act like you’re the father of her babies AND there’s a mother fucking military coup going down! Sounds like my worst nightmare. I think this dude was lucky to make it back alive.
