Twitter detectives are undefeated. Yesterday, Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue burst out onto the national spotlight when she asked Cam Newton a simple question about running routes.
Cam Newton thinks it's "funny" to hear female reporters talk about routes. https://t.co/eGXXadFwZN

Many, including Rodrigue crushed Newton for finding it funny that a “female” would about ask about routes.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours since the incident occurred but Twitter users dug up several of Rodrigue’s old Twitter posts in which she finds racist humor to be funny.

Rodrigue took to Twitter to apologize for the tweets she made “4-5” years ago.

It is worth noting that Rodrigue’s old tweets don’t excuse Cam Newton for being a sexist asshole. Rodrigue also deserves to be commended for quickly owning up to her old tweets while Cam has yet to apologize for his comments.
