It’s not too often that Jordan Spieth has to yell “FOOOOORE,” and to be honest here, I’m not even sure he did when he lost a tee shot on No. 9 down the left side of the fairway at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship on Friday.
The shot proceeded to drill an onlooker right in the ass, saving it from a watery grave. Ouch City, UAE.

Jordan Spieth doesn’t always go OB, but when he does, of course he’s lucky enough to have some poor soul’s behind there to make sure he doesn’t. Hope that poor guy got a signed glove or the ball for his troubles, but it’s good to see him laugh it off.
Despite the reprieve from the water, Spieth’s second round was going less than splendid when play was halted on the 13th hole due to bad weather. Alongside playing partners Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler, Spieth is sitting in the clubhouse at 1-over for the round and 5-under for the tournament.
Leader Andy Sullivan is in the clubhouse at -10, trailed by prodigy Bryson DeChambeau at -9.
