Here’s a GIF of an Ole Miss Player Hitting a Walk-Off Homer on an Intentional Walk

Mississippi third baseman Austin Anderson hit a walk-off home run on Friday. It was a little out of the norm. You see, Anderson was being intentionally walked at the time—for the third time on the night—and when Auburn pitcher Jay Wade threw his pitch just a bit inside for an IBB, Anderson jumped on it. Which causes the Ole Miss bleacher creatures to go justifiably nuts.

This is the kind of freakish thing you typically only see in Little League, when the guy at the plate is the only 13-year-old in the county with a mustache and he’s facing down a 5-foot-1 lefty who tops off at 51.

Totally not speaking from experience. (As the pitcher.)
