The United States Government Has Officially Declared Joe Flacco Not Elite

It’s an argument that’s raged since before humans even had basic cognition. What anthropologists once thought were fights over territory, water sources, and food have turned out to be tribes in different camps of the debate. Australopithecuses who insisted that even though you could win a Super Bowl with him, he wasn’t in the upper echelon of quarterbacks. Homo Habilis who said he just has what it takes.

That’s right, I’m talking about THE question: Is Joe Flacco elite? Does he deserve to be listed among the Bradys, Mannings, and Rodgerses of the world, or is his proper place with the Daltons, Cutlers, and Riverses?

Well, the United States government finally has the answer. Sort of.

Today, this happened.

The edit? You can see it here.

The last line to Flacco’s bio now reads: “All that said, he is not an elite quarterback.”

I’m not entirely sure how this works, but I think the president has ten days to confirm that Flacco is indeed not elite, or this goes back to Congress.
