Scout Willis is taking to the streets, topless, in a cause that I think we can all get behind: allowing women to show their nipples on Instagram. #FREETHENIPPLE! Scout has apparently had it with Instagram not allowing women’s nipples to be shown so she’s walking around New York’s Lower East Side completely topless and chronicling it all on Twitter (where apparently nipple pics are no issue). Demi must be so proud.
I totally get it. When good and decent people like Rihanna are getting their hands slapped for showing a boob here and there on social media it’s time to act.

“What @instagram won’t let you see #FreeTheNipple,” tweeted Willis. “Legal in NYC but not on @instagram.”

Also of note, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen #FREETHENIPPLE. Last December Miley Cyrus also posted a topless pic with that hashtag. Of course her nipples had Photoshopped hearts covering them. Scout’s just taking it to the next level. God bless her.
