Lindsay Lohan asked to host ‘SNL’ season premiere?

Lindsay Lohan has been asked to host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, continuing her career comeback from rehab and her many brushes with the law. Her guest hosting gig on Chelsea Lately must have really impressed the producers of SNL.

“Saturday Night Live has approached Lindsay to host the show again, and they were talking about the season opener,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

“She is definitely considering doing it,” the source said. “She loves the show and the people involved.”

She better consider doing it. In fact, she needs to stop considering and say yes. Especially now that she’s clean and sober, if for no other reason than to make up for the pretty bad job she did hosting the show last year pre-rehab. Sure, Lindsay Lohan will never be on of the best SNL hosts of all-time and she won’t be nude, but everyone, including me wants to see just how good an actress she can really be without all the drama that followed her over the past several years.

One problem though: others have reported that she hasn’t been asked, which can only mean one thing: Miley Cyrus is going to host the opener. You know that’s going to happen, don’t you?

Saturday Night Live premieres on September 28th.
